Loss won't define 49ers rookie coach Jim Harbaugh - After the last ball had been snapped, and the last kick had been kicked, the 49ers' head coach strode swiftly across the field to shake hands with his counterpart.

Just like that, a magical season for a rookie head coach had come to an end in overtime of the NFC Championship Game. Just like that, Harbaugh's magic carpet ride came floating back to earth.
In typical fashion, Harbaugh stood up in front of the gathered hoard afterward and took it like an adult.
He told us how proud he was of his team. How they had fought to the end and could very well have won the game.
